In order to do this, the business is looking to hire an exceptionally talented IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to join its already world-class team. The IT Strategic Sourcing Manager will be engaged in some of the most critical business tenders that directly impact the core of the organization. These tenders will be related to IT Business Software, SaaS and other critical IT Services that will drive the firms digitalization agenda.

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT Software and Services, your duties will include:-

• Working across all levels of the organization to ensure effective delivery of the IT Procurement strategy and gaining the buy-in from internal stakeholders and end-users
• Running end-to-end multi-million € sourcing projects to deliver value and savings to the business through effective RFPs, negotiations and supplier management
• Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers utilizing your category expertise, supplier market knowledge and cost modelling
• Manage existing contracts and supplier relationships, identifying areas for improvement and aligning with long-term sustainability goals
• Regularly review the supplier portfolio to reduce supplier fragmentation and contract risk whilst providing a more efficient purchasing process for your internal customers

To be successful in the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager for Software and Services it's important to have the following skills and qualifications:-

• Must have a clear subject matter expertise and passion for software and IT procurement
• A track record of delivering strategic sourcing projects for IT software and services within a large corporate business
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); Dutch is desirable but not essential
• Highly capable to operate on your own but also work effectively as part of a global team
• You should hold a bachelor's degree in a commercial field or have equivalent work experience; additional procurement qualifications such as CIPS, CPM or NEVI are highly desirable
• Exceptional commercial and analytical skills to review supplier data and contracts
