Senior Buyer- Global Professional Services Firm- £45-50K + bonus- London + remote

This leading global firm are seeking a high-achieving procurement professional to join their highly successful function and drive the role of a senior buyer. This could be a fantastic career move for a procurement professional who is keen on being part of one of the world's leading procurement teams, within a thriving and rapidly expanding firm.

In this opportunity, you will be report to and support the Category Manager in making strategic decisions across indirect procurement spends. As a key member of the team, you will also be guiding more junior buyers in negotiating, planning and managing stakeholders. The opportunity is based in London, but includes flexible working, amongst many other benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a spend across professional services and HR categories, including, but not limited to, consulting, contingent workforce, legal and finance
• Co-ordinating and delivering multiple tenders and negotiations with new and existing suppliers, and present documented reports to senior stakeholders
• Managing stakeholders at a senior level across the whole organisation and create the most effective relationships
• Engage with company initiatives by striving for continuous improvement, gaining internal training

You should have:

• A strong understanding of buying, with experience in HR, Professional Services and Consulting
• Impressive Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation track record, with a CV clearly demonstrating personal achievements and experience in processes such as online auctions and SRM
• In depth experience of Procurement, including experience within the Professional Services / consulting industry
• Experience in process improvement and / or systems implementation in the procurement space is desirable
• A degree education is essential. Other qualifications, including CIPS are desirable
