Physical Oil Trading Senior Business Analyst - £110k Basic + 20% Bonus (perm) OR £750 Per Day (contract)

Global leading asset backed energy / commodity trading house seeks 2 x Physical Crude Oil & Products Trading Senior Business Analysts to join their Central London Global HQ.

My client is open on whether you'd join permanently on £90-110k basic + 20% bonus + benefits OR on a contract basis on circa £750 per day.

Offering flexi working hours, including the option to work either 5 days in the office OR working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home as you prefer.

The successful Senior Business Analysts will work Front to Back Office but have a focus in the Middle and Front Office, whilst being responsible for the analysis and implementation of business processes and the specification of software solutions working on their Endur CTRM software.

This is a Physical Oil Trading BA role so it is 100% essential that you will have strong Physical Oil Trading (Crude Oil & Products) business knowledge working as a Business Analyst. This can be gained working on any ETRM / CTRM system, whether an internally built system or an external 3^rd party solution (Endur, Symphony, RightAngle, Allegro, Entrade etc).

The role is a core Senior BA role - requirements gathering, writing functional specs and being the conduit between the business and IT, working very closely with demanding stakeholders (Traders, Risk Managers etc), so it's imperative that you have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You'll join a large global energy / commodity trading house who despite being a global leader in energy trading are also a dynamic and innovative business who build both internal solutions and use cutting edge external 3^rd party solutions in IT and ETRM. There is flexibility on the exact level of the incoming Business Analysts but one of the 2 BAs will need to be senior, who could then also mentor the 2^nd BA if they were more junior (although would still need strong Physical Oil Trading business knowledge).
