Oil Trading Business Change Manager - £65-85k basic + 30-40% Bonus
One of the world's leading commodity trading houses seeks a Business Change Manager to join their Central London Physical Oil Trading Operations business. My client has established and is now growing a new internal business change function to support and develop their Global Physical Oil Trading function. They are a globally renowned business who only hire superstars eager to be challenged and make tangible differences resulting in high bonuses to reward them.
THE ROLE: Based initially from home until Covid-19 restrictions allow working from the office, you'll then work out of their prestigious Central London office, but with a global coverage. You'll sit with the business change team who are all based in London, as well as sitting close to and working closely with the Operations team and on occasion, the Risk, Front Office and Finance teams.
The successful Business Change Manager will report into the Global Head of Business Change for Oil Trading then indirectly into the COO, supporting their global oil business. As a Physical Oil Trading Business Change Manager you will be the voice of the oil trading business in ensuring the successful design, rollout and implementation of project based activities for the Physical Oil Operations business globally. You will drive the implementation of any products aimed at continually improving the Global Oil Group, ensuring any changes to the business are delivered smoothly and with a positive impact across their London and other global offices.
Your role is thus to lead and implement business change projects which have a low IT footprint, so this is not an IT led role, so isn't right for candidates with more IT change / IT strategy / IT transformation backgrounds. You will proactively probe for continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes and work with the business and IT colleagues to make necessary changes. As this is a Global role, you will ensure Global representation for Physical Oil Operations in project activity to drive increased standardization and associated efficiency improvements.

Salary: Flexible as they are looking for a superstar but circa £65-85k basic + 30-40% bonus + benefits
