Interim Marketing Procurement Lead - Global FMCG

Location: Watford

Day Rate: £400-£500 per day

This global FMCG company are seeking an interim procurement professional with experience across indirect procurement and ideally an SME in marketing procurement. The role will involve working predominantly marketing procurement, but may also involve occasional exposure to e-commerce and IT Sourcing, in line with the wider marketing procurement initiatives.

The opening of this role is the result of a transformative and expansive period of time for the global company, and the role will involve working cross functionally with all of the esteemed procurement function.

Interim Marketing Procurement Lead Role Involves:

• Managing effective relationships with stakeholders, driving procurement and sourcing strategies.
• Working across various marketing sub categoires to instigate development and implementation of new sourcing strategies, supporting projects such as web design, merchandising display products, and digital asset management.
• Managing both internal and external partners inculuding marketing agencies to mitigate risk on all fronts concerning the procurement function.

Interim Marketing Procurement Lead Role Requirements:

• Proven experience and excellence in the following areas: Indirect Procurement, Marketing Procurement, Stakeholder Management.
• Track record working within sourcing for categories including but in no way limited to: Marketing Procurement, ATL Marketing Procurement, BTL Marketing Procurement, Media Procurement, Point of Sale Procurement, e-commerce.
• Proven record of developing stakeholder relationships, working in a fast paced environment, and working collaboratively and cross functionally with wider procurement outfits.
