Indirect Services Buyer - Property Services - Central London - 40K + excellent package

This exciting opportunity in a newly created role offers the chance for an ambitious procurement professional to join a rapidly growing property services firm. With a recent backing from a private equity organisation, this leading firm plans to further increase their presence in the UK property market through a swift and lively expansion.

In line with this grown, this client is seeking an extremely driven individual with experience in buying indirect services, to take control as the category lead for facilities management. You will be working in a small team and reporting directly to the head of procurement. Working together on a daily basis, you will devise and implement new strategies, in order to create a new direction for a growing procurement team. As the team grows, your role will become more complex and exciting, working on bigger projects and managing more junior candidates.

The Indirect Services Buyer will be responsible for:

• Managing a £30 Million spend alongside the Head of Procurement across multiple FM categories, including HVAC, Security Services and Construction Services

• Being pivotal in the construction, maintenance, and ownership of a supplier catalogue for FM related products and / or services
• Successfully managing relationships with new and existing suppliers, communicating effectively on a day-to-day basis, and reviewing performance regularly
• Engaging with company initiatives by striving for continuous improvement and success within the procurement function and wider organisation

Required Background for the Indirect Buyer:

• 2 years+ commercial experience working as a Procurement Buyer gaining a strong understanding of FM category buying, with knowledge of system implementations within the procurement space, such as SAP
• Impressive FM, Construction or Services Procurement track record, with a CV clearly demonstrating personal achievements and experience in processes such as online auctions and SRM
• Experience of overseeing procurement processes, including RFI, Tender processes and handling high purchasing values and complex contracts
• A degree education and other qualifications, including CIPS are desirable
