Despite being a heritage brand the procurement function is relatively brownfield and this company is therefore seeking an Indirect Procurement Lead to join its best-in-class organization to help drive transformation and a fresh strategic procurement approach.

You will be an integral member of the procurement function through gaining continuous exposure to senior stakeholders including the head of procurement. This organization provides a rare company environment that prides itself on developing each employee through various training and development initiatives.

Indirect Procurement Category Lead responsibilities…

• Aid improvement of existing procurement practices, processes and strategy across the end to end procurement function in relation to various indirect procurement categories, including but not limited to, Professional Services, Marketing and Facilities procurement
• Work alongside the project teams to aid effective execution and deployment of sourcing strategies
• Undertake a variety of day-to-day procurement activities, from supporting vendor management and supplier selection strategies to negotiation and managing a diverse range of stakeholders

Indirect Procurement Category Lead requirements…

• Demonstratable success within the indirect procurement space in relation to various generalist categories
• Strong skills surrounding SRM, negotiation and strategic sourcing
• Past exposure to tender and contract management is desirable
