Global Sourcing Specialist - Global Pharmaceutical Major - Medical Equipment Purchasing - Central London - £50k + Strong Benefits Package

As one of the most recognised brands in their industry, global medical devices major seeks an ambitious Sourcing specialist to work on the purchasing of medical products with it's international supplier base.

As you will be working cross-functionally in the team, the firm are targeting individuals with strong sourcing contracts management, analytical skills & stakeholder management to join their prestigious team.

Job Profile:

• Consistently analysing the market to provide effective data for the pricing & procurement of medical products
• Actively participate in, and coordinate price negotiations with manufacturers
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of cost models, currency & commodity tracking
• Work with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure an efficient and effective contracting process with new and existing suppliers
• Negotiate contractual terms with manufacturers in respect of supply agreements, growth incentive agreements, and so on
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, customers and external bodies
• Liaising with various areas of the business including procurement, supply chain, sourcing, legal, finance and operations
• Managing external relationships with Suppliers and Clients to ensure the consistent development of new products

Global Sourcing Specialist Requirements:

• Strong procurement background with experience sourcing direct commodities
• Contracts management expertise
• Strong numerate skills, including experience working with Excel and data analytics tools
• Good academics with strong numerical skills
• Energetic, proactive personality and keen to develop a career with a global business
• Keen to learn, take on responsibility and progress quickly
