Your Role:

As an experienced recruiter, joining at Consultant, Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant, you will become part of our specialist Procurement or Supply Chain Teams, working either the UK or International market based out of our Central London or New York City offices. Working alongside other experienced recruiters, Managers and Directors, all our consultants work in full 360-degree recruitment life-cycle roles, involving both generating candidates and generating clients, whilst equally leveraging off Bramwith’s extensive database of clients and candidates. Existing key clients range from SMEs through to large blue-chip multinationals (Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey, BP, Centrica, BT, GSK, L’Oreal, Burberry, Diageo etc).

As an ambitious and growing business, we are looking for the brightest, most charismatic, hard-working people to join and develop a long term and successful career in recruitment. We offer a meritocratic promotion environment based purely on your personal billing, where you are encouraged to take on more and more responsibility as you develop into a Senior Consultant and hopefully into Management/Directorship. We have three career paths available to successful billers, all leading up to Director – Executive Billing, Team Management and Client Management / Development.

The opportunity at Bramwith Consulting is to build your own portfolio of new business clients, whilst being supplemented with fillable roles for exciting brands. As we continue to aggressively grow our core Procurement offering in the UK, we are also investing heavily into the US market and other broader international offering. The part you play in this growth will help determine the rate of progression into Senior Management and Directorship.

Training:

• Formal, Classroom Training – delivered by the Managers and Directors, working through 26 tailor made training courses which include: Candidate Qualification, Advert Writing, Head-hunting, Cold-Call Business Development, Retainer Pitching, Rapport Building, Reference Taking and Being a “Green Consultant” etc.

• On-the-job Training - in addition to our extensive formal training, a huge part of our training is on-the-job. This comprises work shadowing the top billers, Managers and Directors as well as having them listening to your calls, going on meetings with you, giving you feedback etc. We have also recently set up a Bramwith library of sales, psychology and motivational books for staff to read at their leisure.

• External Training – we send consultants out on recruitment, sales, management, motivational training external training courses depending on their level. Current off-site training includes: The Engage London Sales Conference, The National Sales Academy, Managers Managing Stress and Raise the Bar Management Training.

• Daily, Weekly, Monthly and 6 Monthly Reviews - with a Manager and/or Director to assess your activity, results and implement more training, guidance and consultant action points. We believe that as well as working hard, we need to work smart and optimise our time and efforts on the activities that are most likely to make us money.

Basic Salary:

• Competitive Basic - dependent on background and experience, with increases based solely on your personal billing and promotions.

Individual, Uncapped Commission Scheme:

• Quarterly Commission – uncapped commission scheme with no threshold
• Annual Top-Up Commission - we also offer an annual top-up commission scheme to ensure you take home a fixed percentage of the revenue you generate as the bare minimum

• Over Covid lockdown we have held Thursday evening at 7.30pm Microsoft Teams socials with are optional to attend but are very well received, including:
  • Cocktail making– we sent out all the ingredients through a firm and then everyone logged on for cocktail masterclasses on our favourite cocktails including Negronis, Mojitos, White Russians, Margaritas and Espresso Martinis
  • Take away night - we send ready-made cocktails through the post to each consultant along with a £20 budget to buy your own take-away then quiz nights and other fun games
  • Online gym class – 45 minute “Joe Wicks style” workout with a fitness trainer over Zoom
  • Make your own face mask – everyone bought their own avocados/cucumbers and other ingredients then made face masks

Personal Profile:

• Proven track record gained working in recruitment consulting either for a contingency or retained search firm, being able to show success and potential
• You’ll join in a 360 degree role, so the ability and willingness to deliver to our existing clients and also generate your own clients is important
• If joining at Principal Consultant grade, any previous people leadership and client management would be useful
• Any experience working in or hiring into Procurement or Supply Chain Management would be hugely beneficial but not essential

• Strong academics, inclusive of a Bachelor’s degree from a leading UK or international University
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential
• Any fluency in a second European language (German, Dutch, French, Swedish etc) would be useful but by no means essential. Language skills are of particular interest for our International Team, based from our London office but hiring into principally other European countries and North America.
