In 2006 our founder, Saffa Ayub spotted a gap in the market – a lack of specialist recruiters in the UK procurement, operations and supply chain sector. Over the last decade or so Saffa’s passion and professionalism, coupled with her collaborative approach, have enabled her to build the UK’s leading recruitment firm in the procurement, operations and supply chain market. One that is proud to work with some of the industry’s biggest names.

Saffa Ayub
An award-winning leader and recruiter, Saffa has 20 years’ industry experience. She founded Bramwith in 2006 with the aim of developing a procurement and supply chain recruitment brand based on trust and insight.
Today, Bramwith is an award-winning global business, which Saffa puts down to her passion for recruitment, understanding people, hard work and building a great team based on individuals working to their own strengths. Saffa always goes the extra mile in everything she does, whether at work, in the gym or raising money for charity – but she’s family oriented too, and a proud mother of two young children.

Amit Desai
Amit heads up and runs our US Business and is based out of our New York City office. With over 10 years recruitment experience, Amit brings with him a wealth of commercial knowledge and expertise in recruiting for start-up’s, SME’s & Fortune 500 firms.
Amit made an impact early on in the Bramwith story. Joining as a graduate in 2008, he was promoted to Director in 2018 – a role where he’s helped set and implement our strategy. Amit is driven by the idea of learning and developing from experience. He believes Bramwith is a meritocratic environment and as our ‘Wellbeing Officer’ he makes sure that everyone here is happy, healthy and motivated to improve. Amit is also our Sustainability champion within the business and hosted our recent Sustainable Procurement Conference. Outside of work, Amit is a keen cricket player, chef, travel addict and Spurs fan.
Ben Riley
Ben is an experienced Recruitment Director with over 20 years experience leading and growing recruitment teams.
Since joining Bramwith in 2009, Ben has played a key role in growing our business, covering all hiring outside of the UK. But he’s still very hands on – leading and delivering on several of Bramwith’s senior searches. Ben also heads up our internal operations – planning social activities and incentives, driving charitable initiatives, and acts as our Diversity & Inclusion Champion, he has written an insightful blog on diversity in the work place. He loves watching and playing all sports, he ran the London Marathon in 2018, has a golf handicap of 9 and is a big Liverpool fan.

We’re extremely proud of our diverse and multi-cultural workforce. We have recently been recognised by Business in the Community as a Best Employer for Race and were early signatories of the Race at Work Charter.
We have also been shortlisted by The Recruiter, Investing In Talent awards for Diversity and Inclusion Champion.
We are full members and work very closely with a number of Diversity & Inclusion organisations including WeConnect International, MSDUK, Armed Forces Covenant and Business in the Community, attending regular D&I conferences and roundtable events aimed at educating all attending and working together to help businesses to recruit and retain top talent from all backgrounds. We work closely with these diversity charities to put together information on best practice in D&I recruitment and retention,
We’re doing all we can to make our workplace more environmentally sustainable. As well as adhering to a sustainability policy, everyone at Bramwith has their own tote bag and reusable cup to help cut down on plastic waste. We’re also proud supporters of The Ocean Cleanup Project and are on track to become paperless by 2020.

As well as the environmental initiatives we’ve put in place, we keep a close eye on our impact on the wider community.
